Dr. Michael J. Barnett trained in Medical Oncology at St. Bartholomew's Hospital (SBH) in London before joining the Leukemia/BMT Program of British Columbia in 1986. After spending two years back in SBH, he returned to Vancouver in 2003 as Head of Division of Hematology.
Dr. Barnett spends his professional time overseeing activities of the Division and treating patients with hematological malignancies. He has a particular interest in chronic myeloid leukemia.
